The Wayang Golek puppets shown in this gallery were made in Bogor, West-Java, Indonesia between 1992 and 1994 on my commission and are of performance quality.
This set comprises 74 puppets, each of them a character in the Sanskrit Epic, the Mahabharata, except where noted in the description.
This set has been displayed at the Library of Congress several times, George Washington University, the Shirlington Artists Guild and Virginia Public Television.
